Responsible for delivering annual production targets as per established plans. **Responsibilities and Duties** * Participate in the planning of all tasks; contribute to developing procedures; ensure procedures and risk controls are followed during activities. * Immediately report any incidents that occur. * Non-routine activities or changes in activity scenarios presenting high risk must be pre-approved by the immediate manager. * Monitor and control mine blasting operations. * Comply with and enforce the Production Program. * Prepare daily activity reports. * Plan, organize, control, and supervise mining/development activities and resources under authority: labor, materials, methodologies, and equipment. * Monitor and control costs inherent to the area. * Interact with support areas (geology, maintenance, procurement, human resources). * Attend daily safety meetings to discuss safe behaviors required during activity execution. * Receive blasting engineering schedules, plan activities, and assign tasks to the team. * Audit, report non-conformities, and implement improvements in the unit operation of blast-hole drilling for rock fragmentation. * Responsible for establishing exclusion zones in previously defined areas.
