




Job Summary: An occupational safety professional responsible for ensuring inspections, proposing corrective actions, supervising processes, developing procedures, participating in projects, and delivering training. Develop safety procedures and deliver specific training. **Job Responsibilities** * Ensure environmental workplace condition inspections through safety inspection reports and photographic reports, supported by NRs (Brazilian Regulatory Norms), to identify sector-specific inherent risks and jointly propose actions or controls with area managers to eliminate or minimize such risks, recommending appropriate managerial adjustments to comply with legal requirements; * Monitor regulatory agency inspections and audits, ensuring compliance with requested adjustments via photographic reports and submission of required documentation to verify proper operation of machinery and equipment undergoing inspection and operating in accordance with NRs, thereby safeguarding assets and ensuring certification renewals; * Supervise all routine activities within the area to drive continuous process and procedure improvement through team development; * Develop work procedures related to occupational safety, addressing accident scenarios through environmental assessment using measurement equipment to identify workplace hazards and proposing actions to neutralize or eliminate them; * Participate in building modification and new facility installation projects to promote safer working conditions; * Conduct workplace inspections to identify hazardous conditions, taking all necessary measures to eliminate risk situations, as well as training and raising employee awareness regarding safe work practices; * Develop professionals within their organizational structure, motivating and empowering high-performing teams. * Ensure effective operation of the Internal Commission for Accident Prevention (CIPA), including its programs, reviewing CIPA observations and proposals to implement corrective and preventive accident measures; jointly planning with CIPA the Internal Week for Accident Prevention (SIPAT), organizing required activities and resources; * Develop and implement internal standards and procedures to continuously improve occupational safety practices; * Deliver specific training: confined space work course per NR 33, respiratory protection, hearing protection, emergency response team, and other relevant occupational safety topics; * Monitor third-party quantitative assessments of physical and chemical agents present in the workplace to support technical report preparation. Conduct corporate-wide studies in collaboration with other teams to identify and control risks; * Implement risk management and control techniques across units; * Ensure environmental assessments are conducted and that LTCAT, PPRA, PCA, PPR, PE, and other programs remain up-to-date and properly implemented; * Propose preventive and corrective measures and guide statistical analyses and performance indicators; * Support implementation of effective behavioral safety programs across units; * Deliver specific occupational health and safety (OHS) training, ensuring compliance and alignment with corporate requirements; * Ensure alignment of workgroups with the Occupational Health and Safety Management System (OHSMS) and Operational Disciplines (SGD); Requirements A completed or ongoing postgraduate degree in Occupational Safety Engineering or related fields, or a completed technical qualification in Occupational Safety is preferred.
