




Perform billing activities, including receiving medical records after patient discharge, verifying outstanding items, receiving various documents, analyzing medical records and attendance forms per Ministry of Health regulations, entering data into the system to close hospital accounts, and attaching invoices to the process. **Responsibilities and Duties** * Receive medical records and emergency/ambulatory service forms for analysis and billing in the Ministry of Health systems; follow up on outstanding items with the respective responsible units; receive imaging and diagnostic test reports, enter patients’ personal information and details regarding type and quantity of tests into the system to enable billing; * Monitor administrative discharges and patient reoperations, performing monthly account closures to ensure no accounts carry over from one month to the next; * Organize hospital bills by attaching them to medical records or forwarding them to archives, respecting each unit’s established routine; * Receive invoices, verify their compatibility, and attach them to hospital bills for discharged patients, entering necessary billing information; * Perform monthly closure of hospital, ambulatory, and emergency department accounts for patients who have been medically discharged; * Prepare billing summaries, input required information into the system, and forward them to the Administrative Division, São Paulo State Secretariat, or Regional Health Department (DRS); * Perform other related duties as required or directed by management. **Requirements and Qualifications** * Completed high school education; * Preferably currently pursuing a higher education degree in administrative fields; * Preferable experience in SUS (Unified Health System) billing and intermediate-level computer skills.
