An intern focused on R&D of algorithms, data modeling and retrieval, application of statistical techniques, and preparation of technical reports.

**Description and Responsibilities:**
**Schedule:** 30 hours/week
**Level:** Internship
**Employment Type:** Internship* Engagement in research and development activities for algorithms and software components applied to mining, organizing, modeling, and retrieving structured and unstructured data;
* Modeling and implementation of repositories and relational and non-relational databases, scalability strategies, high availability, and performance in cloud computing environments;
* Application of statistical techniques and methods for quantitative and qualitative analyses of large volumes of data, preparation of competitive intelligence reports, projections, and trend analyses;
* Preparation of technical reports, manuals, presentations, handouts, organization of FAQs, and supporting materials for training, as well as utilization of software components developed within the scope of the project;
* Execution of unit, integration, and system tests to ensure software functionality and quality.
**Requirements:**
Completed or currently pursuing a technical or undergraduate degree in Information Technology, Systems Analysis, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Physics, or related STEM fields;
Solid knowledge of structured programming logic, object-oriented programming, and algorithms; Basic knowledge of Python, Django, CSS, and JavaScript/jQuery;
Basic knowledge of SQL and experience with at least one DBMS: Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or MySQL; Basic English (reading);
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
**PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:** Familiarity with artificial intelligence systems (LLM and NLP modeling); Prior experience with Python spaCy and SciPy; Knowledge of manual or automated testing; Knowledge of non-relational (NoSQL) databases;
**DURATION:** 12 months (renewable) **WORKLOAD:** 30 hours per week.
