Process laboratory tests; Perform collection and preparation of materials; Receive, triage, verify, centrifuge, and distribute biological samples to departments for analysis; Execute procedures assigned to your workstation, prioritizing the release of results; Release test results after quality control analysis, test analysis, and clinical correlations; Monitor pending collections and/or test results; Perform and evaluate internal and external quality control of tests performed; Control, monitor, and record preventive and corrective maintenance of equipment; Perform equipment maintenance; Type worklists when not interfaced, and release tests through interface; Perform inventory control and material ordering, considering consumption/losses of each item used in the department; Provide test clarifications to physicians and patients; Be responsible for the laboratory and/or collection site, ensuring the laboratory's proper operation; Archive raw data (worklists, spreadsheets, reports) from your department; Implement and execute quality programs and tools, ensuring standardization; Act as a multiplier, encouraging and sharing technical and scientific knowledge, and training new staff; Support staff with technical questions and clarify doubts for clients; Assist in SGQ processes related to their areas; Communicate with clients to discuss results, make recommendations, and schedule additional tests/recollections if necessary; Ensure accurate registration of demographic data and monitoring of patient procedures; Maintain inventory records and update equipment and supplies; Maintain temperature controls, POPs, calibration/validation certificates of available equipment/instruments. Coordinate the technical team to schedule tests and ensure proper procedures are followed; Manage customer accounts and maintain updated records; Ensure compliance with all safety protocols and routines; Supervise/lead team, providing instructions and feedback on procedures, protocols, routines, instructions from management, training/meetings; Comply with applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations regarding laboratory operations; Ensure organization of the entire work environment, including cleaning routines, equipment maintenance, unit operation, and various routines; Possess leadership skills to manage their team, including delegating tasks, providing feedback, and motivating employees to follow safety protocols and maintain laboratory cleanliness; Effective communication skills for interacting with various stakeholders, including laboratory staff, suppliers, executives, and clients; **Problem-solving skills:** identify and resolve issues occurring in the laboratory and troubleshoot equipment/day-to-day problems.
