This person will play a strategic role in technical decisions, ensuring quality, scalability, and observability of solutions, while directly influencing the team’s technical maturity through leadership and mentoring. Responsibilities: ✔ Design, develop, and maintain APIs and services using Python, Go, and Node.js ✔ Define and implement best practices in software architecture and design ✔ Strong focus on observability: structured logging, metrics, distributed tracing, and actionable alerts ✔ Ensure code quality through unit, integration, and contract tests, as well as code reviews and CI/CD pipelines ✔ Identify bottlenecks and propose performance, latency, and resource utilization improvements ✔ Provide technical leadership to the team, mentoring developers and guiding key technical decisions Requirements: ✔ Solid experience as a Senior Backend Developer in production environments ✔ Proficiency in Python and practical experience with Go and Node.js, with ability to work across multiple tech stacks ✔ Hands-on experience with AWS cloud and infrastructure-as-code practices ✔ Strong knowledge of distributed systems, concurrency, idempotency, retries, circuit breaker, and rate limiting ✔ Experience with CI/CD and containerized deployments (Docker) ✔ Adherence to best practices in version control, code review, and technical documentation Nice-to-Haves: ➕ Experience with Kubernetes ➕ Prior experience in large-scale, mission-critical environments ➕ Hands-on experience with advanced observability tools ➕ Formal experience as a Tech Lead or team technical reference Work Model: Hybrid – 2 days per week in the office, located in Blumenau or Morumbi (SP).
