




Job Summary: We are seeking a Data Engineering and Data Science Coordinator to build out our Data and AI function, guiding the design of data pipelines and analytical products with hands-on execution and impact-focused delivery. We are looking for a **Data Engineering and Data Science Coordinator** to build out our Data and AI function, guiding the design of data pipelines and analytical products. With strong hands-on execution, this role will disseminate best practices and governance, working closely with business units to prioritize and deliver high-impact solutions. **Responsibilities and Duties** * Orchestrate the end-to-end data lifecycle—from ingestion at source systems through to availability for analytical consumption and AI applications; * Lead the design, development, and continuous evolution of data- and AI-driven products; * Establish and promote a data-driven culture, ensuring best practices in security, governance, and data modeling; * Define, maintain, and execute the strategic roadmap for the Data and AI function, managing technical and business dependencies; * Prioritize initiatives based on business value, risk, effort, and strategic impact; * Engage hands-on during early phases—providing technical support for platform and pipeline structuring. During these phases, the expectation is 80% “hands-on” work and 20% team building and organization; * Plan, hire, develop, and lead teams of data scientists, data engineers, data analysts, and BI analysts; * Set goals, performance metrics, and technical upskilling routines for the team; * Collaborate closely with Product, Engineering, Commercial, and Business teams to transform requirements into tailored analytical, predictive, and AI solutions; * Monitor market trends and continuously evolve architecture, tools, and methodologies; * Ensure technical quality, governance, and on-time delivery. **Requirements and Qualifications** * Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Data Engineering, Machine Learning, Statistics, or related field; * Solid expertise in data architecture, including patterns such as Data Lake, Data Warehouse, Data Mesh, Data Fabric, and ETL; * Advanced proficiency in SQL, with extensive experience in relational databases (SQL Server experience is a strong plus); * Experience handling large-scale datasets and applying statistical analysis to business problems; * Ability to translate technical outcomes into strategic insights understandable by diverse audiences; * Leadership profile focused on results, autonomy, and continuous team development; * Experience managing large-scale data and performing statistical analysis; * Skill in clearly and effectively communicating complex results; * Ability to collaborate effectively with customers and teammates; * Innovative mindset and passion for solving complex problems using AI; * Experience with Generative AI tools; * Willingness to work onsite in Batel, Curitiba-PR. **PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS** * Experience building Data functions from scratch; * Practical experience developing, training, and deploying Machine Learning and Deep Learning models; * Proficiency in programming languages such as Python and AI tools like TensorFlow and PyTorch. * Experience with MLOps, model lifecycle automation, and production model monitoring. * Experience designing data models for digital products. **Additional Information** **CLT** * Meal allowance of R$880.00 (R$176 deducted from payroll); * Transportation allowance (no payroll deduction); * Unimed health plan; * DentalUni dental plan; * GymPass; * TotalPass; * Clube Gazeta do Povo; * Life insurance; * Education assistance; * Excellent work environment, dining area, decompression room with games, library, table tennis, billiards, abundant coffee, and delicious treats every Monday.
