Every day presents an opportunity to do something new — and you can be part of it. **\#JoinVC** **Responsibilities and Duties** * Plan and ensure mining and mineral processing activities through scheduling, control, and alignment of operations, aiming at cost optimization and improved product quality; * Ensure the creation and maintenance of a safe work environment by applying procedures and managing daily routines; * Ensure execution of mineral exploration activities and technical and economic development and maintenance of mines using appropriate mining engineering techniques to achieve operational excellence; * Ensure rational exploitation of mineral deposits through implementation of short-, medium-, and long-term mining plans, complying with the plant’s fundamental guidelines. Submit annual mining reports as required by current mineral legislation; * Participate in developing medium- and long-term mining plans, maintaining all legal requirements and the plant’s qualitative and quantitative demands; * Develop specific projects and techno-economic analyses to meet raw material supply targets and the mining development plan. Respect sustainable environmental practices; * Monitor technical and strategic indicators across various stages of the mining production process through follow-up and development of action plans, aiming to meet established targets and identify potential optimizations; * Correct process anomalies using quality management tools and methodologies to eliminate deviations and failures; * Conduct weekly measurements to update mining progress, ore production, and waste removal from the mine, ensuring process reliability; * Perform topographic surveys and volumetric measurements, providing data for inventory management and operational decision-making; * Assess and monitor technical risks associated with mines (geotechnical, hydrogeological, hydrological); * Develop and revise procedures following established methodologies and standards, delivering technical training and contributing to team capacity building and increased productivity and quality levels; * Maintain mining plan effectiveness within established targets, ensuring full compliance with legal requirements, respecting current mineral and environmental licensing, thereby securing an approved reserve and Class A DCE autonomy. **Requirements and Qualifications** * Bachelor’s degree in Mining Engineering; **OTHER COMPETENCIES:** * Rock drilling and blasting; * Financial analysis; * Operation and maintenance of mobile mining equipment; * Mine safety regulations; * Mineral and environmental legislation applicable to mining; * Army regulations; * Mining planning; * Topography-related software; * Reading and interpretation of cartographic drawings; Mining unit operations; * **Additional Information** We value all forms of diversity and encourage you to learn more about this opportunity below.
