Futurai is a fintech that develops artificial intelligence solutions for the industrial sector, helping major players such as Suzano, CSN, Klabin, and Samarco reduce downtime and optimize their assets through predictions, intelligent agents, and process health dashboards. We are looking for a Cloud Backend Developer with experience in serverless architectures and multi-cloud integrations, who is eager to build robust, scalable, and intelligent solutions for the industrial environment. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining APIs and integration pipelines between customer systems and the Futurai platform, ensuring smooth data flow that powers our prediction models and MCP agents. You will also participate in building intelligent agents, automating cloud workflows, and exposing processed data via APIs and dashboards. **Responsibilities and duties** * Develop APIs and serverless services on AWS (Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB), GCP (Cloud Run, Looker), and Azure (Functions). * Build and maintain data transformation pipelines for ingestion and processing of industrial data. * Implement secure integrations between customer systems and the Futurai platform. * Support the development of MCP agents and asynchronous processes. * Contribute to the evolution of the multi-cloud architecture by proposing improvements in performance, cost, and security. * Automate executions and workflows using Step Functions, Cloud Run Jobs, or Azure Logic Apps. * Collaborate with the Data Science and Product teams to deliver new features and integrations. **Requirements and qualifications** * Proven experience in Python backend development * Experience creating and consuming RESTful APIs. * Knowledge of data pipelines and system integrations. * Experience with version control (GitHub) and CI/CD (GitHub Actions). * Strong documentation and code organization skills. **You stand out if you have:** * Experience in multi-cloud projects (AWS, GCP, and Azure). * Knowledge of industrial data integration (PI System, Tractian, etc.). * Experience with API monitoring and telemetry (Sentry, CloudWatch, etc.). * Knowledge of infrastructure as code (Serverless Framework, Terraform, CDK). * Interest in AI agents, industrial automation, or MLOps. * Experience with Looker or Looker Studio dashboards. **Additional information** **Job characteristics:** * Employment type: Hybrid (Flex Office) * Work location: Base27 – Vitória/ES * Working hours: 40 hours per week – Flexible * Contract type: Contractor (PJ) We are Futurai, a company focused on reducing production losses and repair costs in industry through prescriptive maintenance.
