ABOUT THIS OPPORTUNITY It’s exciting to work at a company where people truly BELIEVE in what they’re doing! *We’re committed to bringing passion and customer focus to the business.* INTRODUCTION We are looking for a Mid-Level Backend Developer to contribute to the development and evolution of our EVO system using Microsoft ecosystem technologies. The candidate will be responsible for implementing new features, optimizing existing code, performing maintenance tasks, and ensuring software quality through development best practices and automated testing. Our environment includes DDD architecture, Web APIs, SQL Server, and Azure. We seek someone experienced in backend development, coding best practices, and possessing a problem-solving and scalability-oriented mindset. WHAT YOU’LL DO:* Develop and maintain backend applications in C# and .NET, using Web APIs and Azure Functions * Create and optimize stored procedures and SQL queries in SQL Server * Develop and maintain automated jobs and backend processes * Apply DDD (Domain-Driven Design) concepts to system modeling and implementation * Ensure code quality through unit tests and development best practices * Maintain and evolve the monolith while ensuring its stability and performance * Collaborate with business analysts, QA engineers, and frontend developers to deliver robust, well-integrated solutions * Participate in code reviews and propose architectural and performance improvements REQUIREMENTS:* Solid experience with C# and .NET (Core or Framework) * Knowledge of Web APIs and Azure Functions * Experience with SQL Server, including stored procedures and query optimization * Experience with unit testing and frameworks such as xUnit, NUnit, or MSTest * Knowledge of DDD (Domain-Driven Design) architecture * Experience with backend automation jobs and processes * Experience with Git and Azure DevOps for version control and task management * Ability to debug and resolve issues in monolithic systems * Strong communication and teamwork skills WHAT WOULD BE A PLUS:* Experience integrating systems via REST APIs and messaging * Knowledge of design patterns and architectural best practices * Experience with monitoring and logging (Application Insights) * Experience modernizing monolithic systems WHAT WE OFFER* Purpose-driven company committed to improving people’s lives through technology, with a values-based culture centered on Best Life (#bestlife), One Team (#oneteam), and Growth Mindset (#growthmindset); * 22 business days of paid leave after 12 months of service, with no reduction in your fees; * Remote office allowance—perhaps you need help covering your internet bills; * Days of Disconnection—a quarterly collective pause where we take a shared day off together around the world. #oneteam. * Free access to LinkedIn Learning; * Dell and Microsoft Office partnership (up to 30% discount on PCs, electronics, and accessories); * University partnerships: Mackenzie, FIAP, and Fundação Vanzolini; * EAP—psychological, legal, and financial assistance when needed; * App-based gym membership subscription; * Option to enroll in the corporate health plan, subject to full payment per company policy and negotiation; enrollment is subject to minimum time since service company establishment and direct approval by the health plan provider—not ABC’s responsibility; * Corporate life insurance at no additional cost At ABC Fitness, we don’t just build technology—we build communities and transform lives.
