Job Summary: A professional who interprets technical drawings, measures, cuts, shapes, and assembles wooden structures, ensuring fine finishes and collaborating with other civil construction professionals. Collaboration with other civil construction professionals #### **Responsibilities** * Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and plans to determine exact specifications and dimensions of wooden structures. * Measure, cut, and shape wood and other materials using hand and power tools, ensuring precision and compliance with specifications. * Assemble and install wooden structures such as roofs, floors, walls, doors, windows, staircases, and cabinets, adhering to building codes and safety standards. * Perform fine finishing on wooden surfaces, including sanding, sealing, and application of varnishes or paints. * Maintain and repair existing wooden structures and components, identifying and correcting defects or damage. * Collaborate with other civil construction professionals, such as masons, electricians, and plumbers, to ensure harmonious integration of work. * Ensure cleanliness and organization of the worksite, as well as preventive maintenance of tools and equipment used. #### **Requirements** * Solid knowledge of reading and interpreting technical drawings, blueprints, and architectural plans. * Proficiency in using carpentry hand tools (saws, hammers, chisels) and power tools (circular saws, sanders, drills). * Ability to perform precise measurements and calculations for cutting and fitting wooden components. * Knowledge of properties of various types of wood and related construction materials. * Familiarity with occupational safety regulations and proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE). * Ability to work independently or as part of a team, meeting deadlines and specifications. #### **Skills** * Wood Cutting * Precise Measurement * Structural Assembly * Fine Finishing * Use of Power Tools * Use of Hand Tools * Workplace Safety * Material Calculation ### **Employment Type:** CLT ### **Benefits:** Meal Allowance, Performance Bonus, Health Insurance, Dental Insurance, Wellhub \- Formerly Gympass, Life Insurance, Transportation/Allowance, Accommodation, On-site Meals ### **Department:** CONSTRUCTION ADMINISTRATION
