




Job Summary: Manage diverse environmental projects, lead teams, conduct diagnostics, and ensure legal compliance and achievement of departmental goals. Key Highlights: 1. Develop ESG and sustainability policies **JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:** * Coordinate the planning, execution, and monitoring of diverse environmental projects, including: wastewater and solid waste treatment projects; environmental licensing involving studies and multidisciplinary teams; environmental intervention and compensation projects; degraded area recovery projects; environmental management projects related to fulfilling environmental obligations stipulated in license conditions and requirements imposed by regulatory agencies (e.g., IBAMA, IGAM, IEF, Sistema MTR, SINIR, etc.); environmental management projects aimed at optimizing processes through implementation of performance indicators; Water Treatment Plant (WTP) projects and water and effluent reuse systems; water resource management projects; and environmental education projects. * Manage technical and multidisciplinary teams involved in environmental projects, promoting technical alignment, capacity building, and focus on sustainable outcomes; * Conduct/coordinate comprehensive environmental diagnostics, including field surveys, data collection and analysis, monitoring of indicators, and performance of Environmental Management Systems (EMS); * Prepare schedules, budgets, technical reports, expert opinions, and executive presentations, ensuring clear communication of project results and progress; * Oversee all environmental department projects, ensuring adherence to deadlines, cost constraints, and deliverables meeting G5S Group quality and standards; * Interface with clients to ensure timely provision of information, documents, and client-responsible projects according to the approved schedule, thereby preventing project delays; * Advise clients on legal compliance of their undertakings with all applicable environmental legislation, while proactively mitigating regulatory risks; * Liaise with environmental agencies, local communities, suppliers, clients, and other strategic stakeholders, ensuring transparent and collaborative institutional relationships focused on preventive action and problem resolution; * Develop and implement projects to strengthen the organization’s and its clients’ ESG and sustainability policies; * Identify and assess risks and opportunities related to internal environmental department processes and those of clients, proposing innovative and sustainable solutions; * Be responsible for achieving environmental department goals, reviewing internal processes, and revising environmental projects and studies; * Train team members and implement tools to optimize internal processes; * Participate in developing and managing environmental department innovation projects. **REQUIREMENTS** * Bachelor’s degree in Agricultural and Environmental Engineering, Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Forestry Engineering, Agronomy, or related fields. * Knowledge of environmental licensing, legislation, and related regulations – **Advanced;** * Solid experience in Environmental Management Projects – **Advanced;** \- Team management experience – **Advanced;** * Microsoft Office Suite – **Advanced;** \- Proficiency in wastewater and solid waste treatment projects – **Intermediate;** \- Intermediate knowledge of AutoCAD, ArcGIS, Google Earth, and other geoprocessing tools – **Intermediate;** * Ability to apply the PDCA methodology and routine management in company processes and with clients – **Intermediate.**
