




Job Description: WHAT YOU NEED TO HAVE: * Technical education completed or in progress (sugar and alcohol, chemistry, or pulp and paper) preferred * Experience in ethanol production (sugarcane, corn, or other cereals) or pulp and paper industry * Proven experience operating supervisory control systems (COI) * Basic Microsoft Office proficiency * Knowledge of continuous improvement tools preferred: Lean, 5S, Standardized Work, Kaizen * Willingness to relocate to the Ribeirão Preto region (Morro Agudo, São Joaquim da Barra, and/or Orlândia). YOUR DAILY RESPONSIBILITIES: * Perform daily tasks with strict adherence to occupational safety procedures; * Operate the plant via the supervisory control system (COI) across the following areas: Pretreatment, Hydrolysis, Fermentation, Boilers, Cogeneration, and Solid Separation; * Serve as backup for the Industrial Operations Manager (GO) during their absence, assuming their full scope of responsibilities; * Ensure standardized execution of work by following established procedures and proposing process improvements; * Assist in developing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs); * Monitor production indicators and control variables, reporting deviations via the logbook and to the shift’s GO; * Complete departmental checklists, verifying each item against its specified control range and implementing corrective actions when necessary; * Manage the plant’s mass balance through real-time process observation, adjusting equipment and tank feed rates to ensure stability across all areas; * Utilize company management tools to achieve excellence in safety, quality, and efficiency; * Support field operators whenever required—especially during production stoppages or non-routine activities, where feasible; * Support maintenance teams during major shutdowns; * Develop a backup for your position by transferring job knowledge to Production Operator II; * Report partial or full production stoppages via the system and to the shift’s GO; * Ensure seamless information handover between shifts; * Take proactive actions to meet production and safety targets. 2512060202191907346
