HOW YOUR DAY-TO-DAY WILL LOOK LIKE: * Conduct weekly collection of incoming bagasse and perform characterization: moisture/ash/compositional analysis (via Klason); * Conduct weekly collection of incoming bagasse and perform particle size analysis; * Compare bagasse characterization data between analyst and laboratory results, and compile a report based on the generated data; * Calibrate equipment; * Conduct weekly collection of pretreated pulp and perform characterization: moisture/soluble solids/total solids/ash/compositional analysis (via Klason); * Perform enzymatic hydrolysis assays on the weekly collected pretreated pulp using varying dosages and different washing conditions (dose-response/DOE); * Value and manage resources provided by the company (materials, reagents, equipment, etc.); * Follow all company and departmental guidelines; * Organize, catalog, and monitor reference samples stored at the plant; * Collect, identify, and characterize all samples to be sent to third parties; * Support plant commissioning activities related to equipment testing and additional tasks beyond routine responsibilities. 2512060202191907343
