Job Mission** Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on diesel-powered vehicles and machinery, ensuring equipment availability, operational efficiency, and safety during company operations. **2\. General Description of Duties** Perform diagnostics on diesel systems, disassembly, repairs, adjustments, component replacement, and operational tests. Ensure trucks, machinery, and equipment are in optimal working condition, adhering to technical standards, safety regulations, and company guidelines. **3\. Main Responsibilities (by process)** **?** **3\.1\. Technical Diagnosis and Analysis** * Identify mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic failures related to diesel systems. * Use diagnostic tools (scanners, multimeters, pressure gauges, etc.). * Issue technical reports and record non-conformities. **?️ 3\.2\. Preventive Maintenance** * Perform scheduled oil, filter, belt, and other component replacements. * Inspect brake, suspension, cooling, steering, and transmission systems. * Follow the preventive maintenance plan and record activities in the system. **️** **3\.3\. Corrective Maintenance** * Carry out repairs on diesel engines, fuel injection pumps, injectors, turbochargers, and fuel injection systems. * Recondition components where applicable. * Perform post\-repair adjustments and functional testing. **?** **3\.4\. Maintenance Control and Recordkeeping** * Record performed services and parts used. * Request parts and support maintenance warehouse inventory. * Monitor failure indicators and recurrence rates. **?** **3\.5\. Organization and Housekeeping** * Keep tools organized and properly calibrated. * Maintain workplace cleanliness and safety. **?** **3\.6\. Compliance with Regulations and Safety** * Comply with applicable NRs (NR\-11, NR\-12, NR\-13, NR\-17, and NR\-35 when required). * Use PPE correctly. * Ensure lockout/tagout (LOTO) during specific interventions.
