Job Summary: Plan, coordinate, and supervise clinical and administrative nursing activities at the Diagnostic Center, ensuring quality, safety, and humanization. Key Highlights: 1. Focus on process management and continuous improvement Plan, coordinate, supervise, and evaluate clinical and administrative activities at the Diagnostic Center, ensuring quality, safety, and humanization of patient care, compliance with technical and legal standards, efficient management of the nursing team, and proper functioning of diagnostic services Coordinate nursing team activities at the Diagnostic Center, including task assignment, guidance, supervision, and performance evaluation of staff members. Ensure safe and humanized nursing care for patients undergoing diagnostic examinations. Plan and monitor patient flow to enhance operational efficiency and reduce waiting times. Ensure compliance with COFEN/COREN regulations, applicable legislation, institutional protocols, and patient safety and quality standards. Develop, review, and implement protocols, operational routines, and procedures related to the department. Supervise correct patient identification, examination preparation, medication administration, monitoring, and recovery, where applicable. Monitor adverse events, incidents, and non-conformities, proposing corrective and preventive actions. Participate in investigations of occurrences related to nursing care. Manage departmental supplies, medications, equipment, and materials, requesting replenishments as needed and avoiding waste. Monitor preventive and corrective maintenance of equipment used in the Diagnostic Center. Manage clinical and operational indicators, proposing action plans for continuous improvement. Develop work schedules, manage attendance records, vacations, time banks, and staffing levels for the nursing team. Conduct training, capacity building, and continuing education for the team. Collaborate with medical, administrative, and multidisciplinary teams to support process integration. Participate in internal and external audits, hospital accreditation processes, and quality programs. Ensure compliance with biosafety, infection control, patient safety, and waste management regulations. Experience in nursing team management and/or coordination of clinical services. Postgraduate specialization in Hospital Management, Auditing, Quality Management, Diagnostic Centers, or related fields is desirable. Proficiency in computer applications and hospital information systems. Reporting Line Reports to the Clinical Coordination/Management or Technical Directorate, depending on the institution’s organizational structure.
