This position is for our agricultural segment, where we successfully connect our customers—the producers—with industry. **PURPOSE AND IMPACT OF THE ROLE** ----------------------------------- The Administrative Assistant will provide administrative support to the logistics/gate department. We seek a versatile professional who can integrate and implement assigned administrative or personnel functions. **KEY RESPONSIBILITIES** ------------------------ * Receive products by attending to drivers and performing vehicle weighing and release procedures. * Occasionally process invoices and freight documentation. * Perform routine administrative tasks within established procedures. * Enter routine data into standard forms, templates, physical files, and electronic documents. * Receive and relay messages from internal and external sources. * Handle basic administrative or technical support issues under direct supervision, escalating more complex matters to the appropriate team. **QUALIFICATIONS** ------------------ * Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite * Experience in administrative routines * Availability to work on a 6x1 schedule — 3rd shift: 11:00 PM to 6:46 AM. * Experience as a scale operator or billing clerk will be considered a plus. \#LI\-KC1 \#LI\-Onsite At Cargill, every person matters.
