Act as a productive and motivated member of the store team. ### **Position** Cashier ### **Profile** **JOB MISSION** Carry out all cash-handling procedures and related tasks, and deliver customer service in accordance with Sephora’s procedures. **PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES** **In-Store / Customer Service** * Adhere to all Sephora customer service policies and standards; * Greet and serve all customers enthusiastically and in accordance with Sephora’s service procedures; * Recognize and respect colleagues’ work; * Contribute to a pleasant and organized work environment; * Complete transactions accurately and efficiently (including gift wrapping); * Handle returns/exchanges in a positive manner; * Engage customers in appropriate conversation during transaction completion; * Provide basic store and product information to customers as needed; * Encourage customers to participate in satisfaction surveys; * Participate as a productive and motivated member of the store team; * Follow LVMH Group’s Code of Ethics and Conduct. **Store Presentation** * Maintain awareness of Sephora’s product promotion concepts at all times; * Maintain cleanliness and organization standards at the checkout area; * Assist in maintaining backstage standards: stockroom, cabinets, kitchen, restrooms, etc. **Operations** * Execute and comply with all Sephora policies and procedures; * Strive to ensure excellence within your area of responsibility; * Participate in supply control (packaging, bags, gifts, labels, etc.); * Complete all assigned store tasks promptly and accurately; * Contribute to maintaining store safety standards; * Communicate area needs to the Supervisor; * Ensure compliance with sampling policies and procedures; * Stay informed about in-store special events and merchandise promotions; * Assist in reducing company expenses without compromising service or standards; * Perform daily cashier and operational duties: * Returns/exchanges; * Communication of supply replenishment needs; * Price adjustments\*; * Cash register opening procedures; * Cancellations\*; * Cash register closing procedures; * Employee transactions\*; * Package products appropriately; * Must be approved by Store Manager or Supervisor. **Training** * Complete all My Sephora Learning trainings; * Seek additional training when necessary; * Assist in onboarding new cashiers. **REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE AND COMPETENCIES** **Experience** * Prior cashier experience preferred; **Qualifications** **Required Knowledge and Skills** * Customer service, communication, and organizational skills; * Logical reasoning; * Experience handling cash/register — preferred; * Basic computer skills — preferred. **Education Level** * High school diploma or equivalent. **Job Requirements** * Communicate clearly with customers and colleagues verbally; * Operate the point-of-sale system; * Demonstrate availability and flexibility; * Comply with the dress code; * Deliver consistent and reliable service. **Competencies** * Teamwork; * Committed and proactive attitude; * Willingness to learn; * Professional ethics and values aligned with Sephora. ***SEPHORA*** **MAISON** ------------------------ Sephora’s stores offer passionate beauty fans across the world a privileged freedom to touch and test products since 1969\.
