**OPENING FOR AUTOMATION TECHNICIAN** **Work Location:** * Onshore operational base located in Jardim Catarina – São Gonçalo/RJ * Occasional offshore assignments aboard maritime support vessels, coastal shipping vessels, platforms, or FPSOs **Employment Type:** CLT – Onshore employment regime with sporadic offshore assignments **Description:** Perform maintenance, commissioning, inspection, and calibration activities on embedded automation systems, ensuring operational reliability, safety, and equipment availability for maritime and offshore operations. **Key Responsibilities** * Carry out corrective and preventive maintenance on marine and industrial automation systems. * Diagnose faults in PLCs, controllers, sensors, and instruments. * Perform calibration and functional testing of: transmitters, solenoid valves, pressure, level, temperature, and flow sensors, alarm and monitoring systems. * Work on automation of systems such as: HPU, bow/stern thrusters, CPP, fire-fighting pumps and rotating machinery, ballast and oil systems. * Read and interpret electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic diagrams. * Perform PLC configuration and communication (Siemens, Allen-Bradley, WEG or equivalents). * Prepare technical reports, inspection records, and maintenance logs. * Support commissioning of new systems and upgrades. * Comply with SMS requirements, Brazilian Regulatory Norms (NRs), and classification standards (DNV, ABS, BV). * Provide technical support to onboard crew and engineering teams. **Technical Requirements** * Technical education in Industrial Automation, Electrotechnology, or related fields. * Experience in automation of embedded or industrial systems. * Proficiency with instruments and sensors (pressure, level, temperature, flow). * Knowledge of PLCs, industrial networks, and protocols (Modbus, Profibus, CANbus). * Familiarity with industrial hydraulics and electromechanical systems. * Use of diagnostic software and calibration tools. * Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel); Power BI is desirable. **Desirable Certifications** * NR-10 * NR-35 * CBSP * HUET * T-HUET * Automation certification (Siemens / Rockwell / WEG) **Behavioral Competencies** * Logical reasoning and fault analysis * Decision-making in critical environments * Documentation organization and discipline * Clear technical communication * Teamwork * Proactivity and autonomy * Focus on operational safety (HSE) Job Type: Full-time, Permanent CLT Salary: BRL 4,500.00 – BRL 7,000.00 per month Benefits: * Transportation allowance
