




Job Summary: A professional responsible for preparing and assembling reinforcement cages for concrete slabs and walls, following safety procedures. Key Highlights: 1. Receive and store steel mesh and rebar 2. Assemble reinforcement cages for walls, slabs, footings, and other structures 3. Prepare workbenches and rebar cutting machines Prepare reinforcement cages for cutting and bending rebar for concrete slabs and walls; perform lashing of reinforcement loads and hoisting using a Mini Crane; assemble and install reinforcement within the scope of concrete walls, in accordance with safety guidelines and procedures, to support the construction of concrete walls and structures. Responsibilities and Duties: Receive and store steel mesh and rebar according to instructions from reinforcement supervisors and/or foremen. Assemble reinforcement cages for walls, slabs, footings, foundation blocks, stairs, columns, and beams. Prepare workbenches and cutting machines; list materials required for reinforcement; select and measure steel mesh and rebar. Verify dimensions of components for cutting and bending. Sketch the cutting process and specify bar cuts according to component lengths. Assemble cutting jigs when necessary; position reinforcements per design drawings. Identify distribution bars within reinforcement cages; assemble and splice distribution bars; mark spacing intervals and assemble stirrups. Position reinforcements per jigs; identify beam assembly locations; fix external spacers to reinforcement cages; connect foundation, beam, and column reinforcements; and tie slab reinforcement to beams.
