Objectives of the Role Act as a Senior Mobile Developer, responsible for designing, building, and evolving mobile applications compatible with both iOS and Android ecosystems—preferably using a unified codebase built with React Native, complemented by practical native development expertise (Swift/Kotlin) when required for performance optimization or platform-specific feature access. The professional must ensure robust and efficient integration of these applications with .NET backends, guaranteeing secure communication via REST/GraphQL APIs, proper error handling, offline caching, and real-time data synchronization. A central differentiator for this role is proven experience building and maintaining Super Apps (single applications aggregating multiple services or mini-apps). Additionally, the candidate is expected to lead performance optimization initiatives, continuously drive innovation by proposing new tools and processes, actively collaborate with product stakeholders and agile teams, and support post-delivery operations through proactive monitoring of key metrics (crash rate, ANR, user feedback). **Mandatory Requirements:** ------------------------------ KEY SKILLS Technical and Software Quality Skills: Advanced React Native: component development, navigation, state management (Redux, Context API), native bridges. .NET (C\#): solid knowledge for consuming REST APIs, understanding backend architecture, and making occasional endpoint adjustments. Native development (Swift for iOS; Kotlin/Java for Android): ability to build custom modules and optimize performance. Proven experience with Super Apps: modular architecture, mobile microfrontends, continuous deployment of mini-apps. Tools and practices: Git, CI/CD (GitHub Actions, Bitrise or similar), automated testing (Jest, Detox, XCTest, Espresso), monitoring (Sentry, Firebase). Analytical and Decision-Making Skills: Technical and business impact analysis when choosing between native, hybrid, or cross-platform approaches. Evaluation of trade-offs among performance, development time, and maintenance effort. Ability to investigate and resolve complex integration, concurrency, and memory consumption issues on mobile devices. Communication and Collaboration Skills: Clear communication with product, design, and backend stakeholders to align requirements and deadlines. Documentation of architectural decisions, integration flows, and contribution guidelines. Active participation in code reviews, pair programming, and agile ceremonies. RESPONSIBILITIES Backend System Development and Maintenance: Build and maintain Super Apps using React Native, ensuring new modules integrate seamlessly without compromising core app stability. Develop native bridges when necessary to access iOS- and Android-specific features. Integration and Sustainment: Write clean, reusable, and testable code following architectural patterns (MVVM, Clean Architecture). Integrate mobile applications with .NET backends via REST, GraphQL, or gRPC, handling authentication, caching, and offline fallbacks. Support already-published apps (Apple App Store and Google Play Store), including critical fixes and compatibility updates for new OS versions. Optimization and Performance: Analyze and reduce startup time, battery consumption, and network traffic. Identify and fix memory leaks, jank (dropped frames), and over-rendering in React Native. Use profiling tools (Xcode Instruments, Android Profiler, Flipper). Innovation and Continuous Improvement: Evaluate and introduce new technologies (e.g., Kotlin Multiplatform, Flutter) when justified. Automate build, test, and distribution processes (App Center, TestFlight, Internal Testing Track). Propose architectural evolutions for the Super App to horizontally scale with dozens of mini-apps. Stakeholder and Team Collaboration: Participate in technical refinements and effort estimations for new features. Align expectations with product teams regarding feasibility and technical alternatives. Mentor and train less-experienced developers through internal mentoring and training sessions. Post-Delivery Monitoring and Continuous Improvement: Monitor quality metrics (crash rate, ANR, response time) and act proactively. Collect user and support team feedback to prioritize fixes and enhancements. Academic Qualifications Required: Completed or ongoing undergraduate degree in Information Technology (Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or related fields). **Desirable Requirements:** -------------------------- Practical experience publishing and maintaining Super Apps in production (e.g., marketplace apps, banking apps, or service-oriented superapps). Knowledge of .NET Core/6\+ for developing APIs serving mobile applications. Participation in mobile communities (React Native Open Source, contributions to libraries). Mobile development certifications (Meta React Native, Google Associate Android Developer, etc.). Familiarity with mobile microfrontend architecture and module federation.
