Here’s what this opportunity will involve on a day-to-day basis: We are seeking a Data Engineer to build and evolve data solutions that support strategic decisions across our ecosystem. You will play a pivotal role in developing scalable pipelines, ensuring data quality, governance, and availability for various business areas. **Responsibilities and Duties** * Develop and maintain scalable, robust, and reliable data pipelines * Design data ingestion, processing, and integration solutions from multiple sources * Work with large volumes of data in distributed architectures * Use SQL, Python, and PySpark for data transformation and preparation * Automate pipelines with a focus on performance, scalability, and monitoring * Ensure data quality, integrity, and governance * Collaborate with Business, BI, and Data Science teams * Document solutions and disseminate data engineering best practices * (For more senior levels) Serve as a technical reference and support team development **Requirements and Qualifications** * Bachelor’s degree in **Data Engineering, Data Science, or related fields** * Solid experience in Data Engineering (minimum 4 years) * Proficiency in SQL * Experience with Python and PySpark * Hands-on experience with Databricks * Experience developing scalable data pipelines * Knowledge of data orchestration and integration (e.g., Azure Data Factory or similar) * Experience working with large-scale data environments and distributed architectures ### **Desirable Requirements** Practical experience with **Unity Catalog (Databricks)** Experience in **DevOps practices** (CI/CD, versioning, automation, observability) Prior experience in **agile environments** (Scrum, Kanban, or similar models) Experience with data streaming (Kafka) Knowledge of Azure cloud Experience in retail, logistics, or digital products Experience with machine learning or applied artificial intelligence Previous experience mentoring professionals or leading technical initiatives **Additional Information** **Hybrid Work Model \- São Paulo/SP or Porto Alegre/RS** **Other locations: Remote** **Learn about our benefits!** * Check eligibility for your position.
