An environment that values competence and the drive to drive transformation **Positions for those who want to transform businesses and their careers!** --------------------------------------------------------------------- ### **Desired Qualifications** • Experience with video pipelines (upload, transcoding, CDN, DRM). • Advanced observability (New Relic/Sentry), feature flags, blue\-green/canary deployments. • Kubernetes/Docker and deployment automation. • Cloud cost optimization and advanced database tuning. • External integrations (webhooks, authentication, BI).### **What You Will Find** NOTE: Initial 3-month assignment via UDS, followed by direct hiring by the client, subject to performance. As a PJ contractor, you will interface with both companies but will be even closer to the client. At UDS, you will also have access to: Managerial support; Training programs; Flexible working hours; Work equipment; Access to corporate UDEMY account; AWS certification access.### **Job Requirements** • 3 to 5+ years of experience with production web backends. • Hands-on experience with Ruby on Rails Fullstack (or strong foundation in another MVC framework). • Hotwire • Tailwind • ActionView / ActionPack • Relational databases: modeling, transactions, tuning. • Redis/queues and asynchronous processing (Sidekiq/Resque or equivalent). • HTTP/REST: versioning, idempotency, pagination, rate limiting. • Automated testing and CI/CD. • AWS (or similar cloud): S3, CloudFront, EC2/Lambda, IAM, VPC. • Productive use of AI tools for development (Copilot, Cursor, Claude, etc.). • Ownership mindset, sense of urgency, and customer focus.### **Your Responsibilities** • Develop and maintain \*\*internal tools\*\* (CS/Admin): CRUD operations, reports, automations, integrations. • Design, develop, and maintain APIs\*\* (REST) for player, dashboard, and integrations. • Data modeling: indexes, query optimization, safe migrations. • Asynchronous jobs: queues, idempotency, retries, dead\-letter queues. • Observability: structured logs, metrics, tracing, SLOs/SLIs. • Performance and cost: propose improvements balancing speed and economy. • Security: authentication/authorization, abuse prevention, OWASP. • Quality: automated tests, PR reviews, coding standards, and CI. • Close collaboration with the CTO and PM on technical prioritization and roadmap.### **It’s important to remember that ...** At UDS, we hire competent people who are eager to **drive transformation through their knowledge.** **This is independent** of your region, age, ethnicity or race, religion, gender identity, or sexual orientation.
