Description

REQUIREMENTS: * Completed technical training in Clinical Laboratory Analysis, Clinical Pathology, and/or Biomedicine. * Prior experience in this role is required. RESPONSIBILITIES: * Collect biological specimens and/or functional tests via venipuncture or specimen collection, following the department's standard operating procedures, to fulfill registered requests; * Enter and inspect examinations performed during collection, recording results in the computerized system to fulfill registered requests; * Monitor temperature and equipment by reading thermometers, adhering to established standard procedures; * Administer intradermal injections per required testing protocols, following the procedure request form; * Generate reports on stalled samples using the traceability system to prevent samples from stalling within the department; * Prepare biological materials for transport to technical departments through daily tracking of completed examinations.
