Focus on professional and human development Job Description: About the Company: **Metalgusa is a Caxias do Sul-based company operating for over four decades, delivering intelligent solutions that guarantee high standards of quality, technology, and reliability in steel cutting.** About the Opportunity: **We are looking for a Laser Machine Operator.** As a Laser Machine Operator, you will be responsible for operating laser machines for cutting steel sheets. **Responsibilities:** \- Receive from OP coordination: drawings and steel sheets. \- Position material on the machine according to X-Y axes. \- Inspect cutting ignition and protective lens. \- Adjust torch squareness relative to the sheet. \- Monitor cutting process continuously. \- Measure the first piece against drawing dimensions. \- Sort cut parts and scrap onto pallets to facilitate handling. \- Record data on the OP (batch number, quantity of cut parts, sign/date). \- Forward cut parts to the next operation together with OP and drawing. \- Label scrap pieces and deliver them to designated storage locations. \- Collect scrap and place it into bins for subsequent transfer to the warehouse. \- Maintain measuring instruments (proper handling and storage in clean, protected areas). \- Clean and organize the workplace, tools, and equipment. \- Request machine/equipment maintenance as needed. \- Perform maintenance per RQ 08 \- Preventive maintenance control. **Requirements and Qualifications:** \- Minimum 1 year of experience in this role. \- Knowledge of laser cutting operations. **Training:** \- LID and Metrology \- Overhead Crane Operator \- ISO 9001 System \- NR-12 Machinery Safety **Preferred Qualifications:** \- Knowledge of steel, metal sheets, and areas including Laser, Bending, and Oxy-fuel Cutting; \- Completed high school education; **Our Benefits:** \- Competitive salary commensurate with experience; \- Meal allowance at partner restaurant (R$ 1.67 deduction per meal); \- Transportation voucher (1.5% deduction); \- Health insurance (Circulo) + dental plan; \- Attendance-based VR card; \- Basic food basket; \- Childcare allowance; \- Life insurance; \- Welcoming environment focused on professional and human development.
