Job Summary: Carry out routine and terminal cleaning of all laboratory areas, perform disinfection, and assist in preparing materials to ensure well-being and safety. Key Highlights: 1. Ensure a clean and hygienic environment for patients and staff. 2. Perform daily cleaning and disinfection of all laboratory areas. 3. Uphold sanitary and safety regulations. **Definition:** Carry out routine and terminal cleaning of all laboratory areas, as well as disinfect utensils and assist in preparing laboratory/research materials. **Main Deliverables:** Ensure a clean and hygienic environment for receiving patients and staff, guaranteeing well\-being and safety for everyone's health while complying with safety regulations; * Perform daily cleaning and disinfection of all laboratory areas; * Remove, package, and dispose of all waste (general and contaminated), daily. * Perform disinfection/decontamination of organic matter/biological waste, when necessary, according to current protocols outlined in the “Biological Waste Spill Emergency Protocol”. * Follow and carry out the terminal cleaning schedule, as well as complete the corresponding form; * Complete checklists and forms for concurrent/terminal cleaning routines. * Disinfect the reception area and collection room chairs with 70% alcohol every 15 to 20 minutes; * Observe and follow instructions for using chemicals employed by the laboratory; * Correctly use personal and collective protective equipment; * Uphold sanitary and safety regulations.
