Would you like to join our team? **Primary Location:** Brazil (BR) \- Goiás \- Catalao **Function:** Product Engineering (CA) **Title:** Junior Product Engineer \- Catalão/GO \- 118171 **Key Responsibilities** -------------------------------- As a Junior Product Engineer specializing in hydraulics at John Deere in Catalão/GO, you will support the design, development, and validation of hydraulic systems for sugarcane harvesters. This role includes responsibility for hydraulic hose routing using CREO (Piping module), ensuring correct installation, durability, serviceability, and compliance with design and manufacturing standards. Based at the Catalão manufacturing facility, this professional will work closely with senior engineers and cross-functional teams to deliver reliable and cost-effective hydraulic solutions for both production and field use. **Key Responsibilities:** * Create, modify, and maintain hydraulic hose routing using CREO (Piping module), ensuring adequate clearances, bend radii, clamping, abrasion protection, and serviceability; * Support the design and development of hydraulic systems and components (e.g., pumps, motors, valves, hoses, hydraulic manifolds, cylinders) for sugarcane harvesters; * Develop and maintain engineering documentation, including 3D models, drawings, bills of materials (BOMs), hose lists, and technical specifications; * Participate in design reviews, DFMEA, and technical discussions related to hydraulic system layout and routing; * Support prototype assembly, factory testing, and field validations, including verification of hose routing feasibility and robustness; * Assist in root cause analysis and corrective actions for quality, reliability, or assembly issues related to hydraulic systems and hoses; * Interact with manufacturing, quality, and supply chain teams to support production, assembly processes, and supplier relationships; * Contribute to cost-reduction initiatives, value engineering, and continuous improvement efforts related to hydraulic systems and hose routing; * Ensure hydraulic designs comply with internal engineering standards, safety requirements, and regulatory norms. **Skills You Need** -------------------------------- * Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Mechatronics, Agricultural Engineering, or related fields; * Advanced English: strong vocabulary, solid grammar, and ability to lead meetings, present arguments, negotiate, and deliver training; * Basic knowledge of hydraulic systems and components; * Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical documentation; * Familiarity with 3D CAD tools; * Strong communication and teamwork skills; * Willingness to work on the factory floor and support prototype and field activities as needed. **Our Key Benefits** * Variable compensation; * Health insurance; * Dental insurance; * Life insurance; * Private pension plan; * Eyewear benefit; * Vaccine reimbursement; * Corporate University; * TotalPass; * Depending on the location, you may have an on-site cafeteria, meal voucher, or food allowance; * Pharmacy allowance; * And more \#LI\-Hybrid **Our Selection Process** Selection begins with your application; for some positions, additional assessments may apply.
