Check out our job opening and come work with us! **Responsibilities and Duties** **Some of the challenges you’ll face:** * Clean, organize, and verify supplies, and calibrate machines and tools prior to performing tasks; * Organize and clean the tool board and toolbox daily; * Verify whether the vehicle has a *checklist*; * Review the service order and clarify customers’ questions regarding the service to be performed; * Prepare vehicle estimates; * Prepare the vehicle for placement on the lift; * Lift the vehicle onto the lift—inspect suspension, brake, tire, and wheel components; * Perform wheel balancing; * Mount tires using the tire changer; * Carry out alignment, brake, and suspension services; * Inspect parts; * Perform weekly compressor maintenance and alignment calibration, leveling and updating measurements as needed; * Organize casings; * Assist in inventory counting; * Assist in unloading tires from trucks, sorting them by size, verifying them, and storing them in inventory; * Ensure and guarantee proper use of required personal protective equipment (PPE); * Perform other related duties as required by the department. **Requirements and Qualifications** **What we’re looking for:** * Prior experience in an auto center is desirable; * Automotive Mechanics Technician certification is a plus; * Valid driver’s license (Category A/B); * Experience with automotive scanners is a plus. **Additional Information** **What do we offer you?** * Competitive compensation package aligned with market standards, including commissions and bonuses; * Meal allowance; * Health insurance (50% employer-paid); * Dental insurance; * Transportation allowance. Our journey toward becoming one of the largest regional companies in the tire retail sector began on September 7, 1972, with the inauguration of "Borracharia Nossa Senhora Aparecida." Located in São José do Rio Preto, in the interior of São Paulo state, it was owned by Mr. Orestes Zanfolin (formerly a bus driver) and initially employed only one staff member. Later, the shop was handed over to his youngest son. In 1979, a tire shop named "Borracharia do Cacau" was acquired in the Boa Vista neighborhood, also operating with just one employee. From these establishments, in April 1985, the company Silcar Pneus Ltda. was founded—using the initial letters of the names Silvio and Carlos—and initially sold new, retreaded, and used tires. In 1988, Silcar launched its own tire retreading plant, also located in São José do Rio Preto. Its in-house production, supported by imported machinery and a strong focus on quality casings and raw materials, resulted in highly accepted, high-quality final products—making the group increasingly competitive and structured. At the beginning of the 1990s, the company shifted its focus toward opening and acquiring retail stores and delivering services through its automotive centers, actively seeking partnerships with multinational tire manufacturers operating in Brazil—including Pirelli (our first partner), followed by Michelin, and currently Continental. In subsequent years, Silcar Pneus expanded its product portfolio, consolidating its presence in the heavy-duty and agricultural tire markets. Gradually, we began serving not only large truck fleets but also independent truck drivers who keep our country moving, and entered the commercial tire retreading segment through a specialized plant located in Araraquara. Within the agricultural tire segment, we facilitate supply to selected implementers and directly serve Brazilian farmers. We feel honored to contribute in any way to Brazilian agribusiness. Today, the Silcar Pneus Group operates 27 retail stores across the states of São Paulo, Goiás, and Mato Grosso do Sul; a Truck Center in Marília-SP; and nearly 300 employees who work daily to ensure service delivery at the highest quality standard. We operate a retreading plant in Araraquara equipped with some of the most modern equipment in the industry and distribute light- and heavy-duty tires through wholesale operations located in São Paulo, Minas Gerais, Goiás, and Mato Grosso do Sul.
