We are seeking a professional to work in the production department of bakery units within a supermarket chain, ensuring organization, efficiency, and high quality standards. The role involves team leadership, performance target monitoring, operational control, and continuous oversight. **\- Key responsibilities:** * Supervise, guide, and organize the bakery team; * Ensure quality, safety, customer service, and productivity standards; * Implement checklists and regulations, and maintain adequate stock levels according to layout plans; * Request merchandise, negotiate with suppliers, and register invoices; * Monitor orders, inventory, shrinkage, and price changes; * Track performance targets, conduct audits, and analyze reports; * Coordinate production activities, supervise tasks, and provide guidance on equipment usage; * Ensure cleanliness, organization, and professional appearance of both team members and the department; * Conduct meetings, plan activities, and inspect cold rooms and refrigerated display cases; * Conduct evaluations and training sessions, and participate in management meetings; * Manage vacation schedules, timekeeping, shift assignments, and onboarding of new employees; * Guarantee product quality, shelf-life compliance, and continuous improvement in the department. **\- What do you need to apply?** * Completed high school education; * Experience in baking, pastry-making, and food production; * Prior experience leading bakery teams; * Knowledge of ordering, inventory management, shrinkage, and price adjustments; * Proficiency in handling invoices, reporting, and negotiations; * Familiarity with good food handling practices; * Ability to work under pressure and handle challenges effectively; * Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays; * Proactive, organized, committed, and agile profile, with active leadership and a strong focus on quality and results.
