You will be a key player in elevating the team’s technical seniority and accelerating Cloud FinOps as a structured discipline within the company. We seek someone who has already worked hands-on with FinOps daily—making decisions, driving efficiency, and delivering real business impact. **Your key responsibilities:** * Advance the Cloud FinOps discipline at RD by bringing deep technical expertise and a systemic business perspective; * Build and enhance solutions for cloud cost measurement, allocation, and visibility; * Ensure greater cost traceability by labels, services, products, teams, and business contexts; * Develop automations and tools that reduce operational effort and strengthen continuous cost management; * Support architectural decisions with a focus on financial efficiency; * Identify waste, deviations, and opportunities for cloud cost optimization; * Contribute to governance and evolution of Kubernetes and cloud practices, with an emphasis on economic efficiency; * Make cost management more accessible, actionable, and trustworthy for technical and executive stakeholders. **Profile we’re looking for:** * Proven experience in Cloud FinOps, with hands-on work in governance, allocation, analysis, and optimization of cloud costs; * Advanced knowledge of Google Cloud Platform (GCP); * Strong foundation in cloud architecture, with ability to connect technical decisions to financial impact; * Experience building automations, internal products, tools, or pipelines focused on cost management and financial visibility; * Mastery of cost allocation strategies (labels/tags, cost centers, ownership) and models such as showback and chargeback; * Strong software development capability to build solutions that streamline FinOps operations; * Relevant knowledge of Kubernetes, especially in containerized workload environments. **Nice-to-have qualifications:** * Additional experience with AWS and/or Azure; * Experience in multi-cloud environments; * Knowledge of billing exports, data pipelines, and analytics applied to cost management; * Experience building executive dashboards and reports, focused on visibility and decision-making; * Experience with cloud governance practices, including rightsizing, commitments, savings plans/reservations, and continuous optimization; * Prior experience in SaaS companies or high-scale engineering environments. **Selection process steps:** * **Application** \- Submission of application; * **Mindsight** – Work style assessment; * **Talent Acquisition** \- Competency-based interview with the recruitment team; * **Technical Interview** \- Technical interview to discuss role requirements; * **Final Interview** \- Final conversation with management for alignment; * **Offer** \- Final stage of the selection process, presenting the job offer. **Note:** Additional or modified steps may apply based on process needs.
