Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen areas and utensils. Organize equipment and ingredient deliveries. Assist with routine food preparation tasks (e.g., peeling and chopping vegetables). Aid in selecting vegetables, meats, fish, and cereals for food preparation and assembly of condiment stations on thermal counters. Complete the production worksheet whenever pre\-preparation activities are performed. Comply with all applicable health surveillance regulations per the restaurant’s food handling training course. And other duties inherent to the position. Previous experience as Assistant Cook, Kitchen Helper, Restaurant Assistant, or Food Preparer may indicate suitability for some responsibilities of this role. High school education in progress.
