




Job Summary: This professional will assist process analysts and engineers in production areas, participating in the development, implementation, and optimization of manufacturing processes, as well as providing production support. Conducting diagnostics of complex problems and optimizing processes **Responsibilities:** --------------- **Primary Function:** Perform support activities for process analysts and engineers in production areas. **Essential Functions:** A. Assist in developing processes in production areas such as machining, assembly, heat treatment, and forging; B. Conduct and monitor Try-Outs of parts and equipment during initial production, issuing evaluations regarding safety, quality, and productivity; C. Participate in the development and approval of manufacturing processes (tooling, process parameters, etc.); D. Interact with Manufacturing Supervisors regarding machine availability, tests performed, and objectives; E. Develop operational instructions for manufacturing processes; F. Support Process Analysts in updating required documentation; G. Support Manufacturing in identifying needs for process changes and/or improvements; H. Perform diagnostics of complex problems, generating actions to maximize tooling and process utilization; I. Actively participate in meetings with Manufacturing and related departments to ensure effective communication and teamwork for problem resolution; J. Maintain manufacturing process files, manuals, reports, and quality system documents up-to-date and organized; K. Participate in cross-functional teams using quality tools for problem resolution and propose ideas; L. Interact with suppliers to conduct tool testing; M. Comply with standards and procedures related to quality management, environmental, occupational health and safety systems; N. Apply 5S (Sort, Set in Order, Shine, Standardize, Sustain), eliminating waste, maintaining an organized and clean workplace, machines, and equipment, and also participate in workplace stretching exercises; O. Perform other related duties as directed by the immediate supervisor and/or per work process procedures and/or per quality system procedures. **Qualifications:** ------------------ **Required / Mandatory:** * High School Diploma + Technical Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Machining, Toolmaking, or related fields; * Experience in machining activities; Availability to work on 1st shift or 2nd shift. * **Preferred / Desirable:** * Proficiency in CAD/CAM systems (AutoCAD / Pro\-Engineer / SolidWorks / Creo); * Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings; * Proficiency in machine programming; * Proficiency in machining concepts; * Proficiency in machining tools; * Proficiency in machining parameters; * Technical proficiency in inspection, use of tools, machining parameters, and analysis of laboratory test reports to support Manufacturing in diagnosing process-related issues; * Knowledge of process planning software (CAPPE); * Knowledge of root cause analysis tools (8D, FCA); * Knowledge of the production process; * Knowledge of Safety, Ergonomics, and Environmental regulations; * Knowledge of automation systems; * Intermediate English language skills; Knowledge of 3D design software. * We are committed to ensuring equal employment opportunities for job applicants and employees.
