Monitor and replenish the digital printer with ink, varnish, and primer; activate machine commands to initiate processes; adjust machine parameters. Operate the digital printing machine according to the daily schedule and maintain the defined print standard. Test color standards by applying them to samples, measure and verify gloss and tone, suggest color adjustments and improvements until the desired standard is achieved, and identify the approved standard. Identify and segregate defective raw materials or finished products; update and maintain organized archives of standards and technical sheets per immediate supervisor’s instructions. Perform visual color inspection and compare material against the client-approved sample. Clean machines and equipment in the department; perform and discard splices; supply the department and machines with edges from the calendering department’s stock. Test adhesion, chemical resistance, and primer performance of produced items. Maintain a clean and organized workplace. **Requirements** -------------- Completed high school education; Experience in digital printing is desirable; Knowledge of rotogravure, offset printing, Photoshop, CorelDraw, and colorimetry is a plus.
