Job Summary: A professional responsible for leading and supervising maintenance teams, ensuring proper equipment operation, safety, and process optimization. Key Highlights: 1. Promoting continuous improvement in processes and equipment Assign and monitor team activities daily, tracking execution progress, demand evolution, and adherence to established deadlines; Ensure compliance with Safety, Health, and Environment (SSMA) standards, promoting safe practices across all maintenance activities; Ensure proper equipment operation through lubrication, adjustments, and calibrations, guiding and verifying accurate completion of Service Orders (SOs) for control and traceability of performed maintenance. Identify and address critical and recurring issues by conducting and supervising inspections, preventive and corrective maintenance on mechanical and electrical equipment and feeding systems, promoting continuous improvements in farm processes and equipment. Collaborate with support areas and immediate leadership, prioritizing activities with the highest operational impact. **Responsibilities and Duties** Guide and ensure accurate completion of Service Orders (SOs), guaranteeing traceability and control of executed activities; Assign and monitor team activities daily, tracking execution progress, demand evolution, and adherence to established deadlines; Ensure compliance with Safety, Health, and Environment (SSMA) standards, promoting safe practices across all maintenance activities; Identify and prioritize actions addressing critical and recurring issues, implementing corrective measures and driving continuous improvements in processes and equipment; Collaborate with the procurement area in defining technical specifications, storage, and inventory control of maintenance materials; Conduct and/or supervise routine inspections to assess the condition and operational status of mechanical equipment; Perform and/or supervise preventive and corrective mechanical maintenance on all equipment and associated accessories, ensuring proper functionality; Perform and/or supervise maintenance of electric motors, motor-pumps, and de-energized equipment, including replacement of mechanical seals, bearings, and bushings; Perform and/or supervise lubrication, adjustments, and calibrations of all mechanical and pneumatic equipment according to each machine’s specifications, using appropriate instruments and the maintenance plan; Ensure proper documentation of interventions performed, replaced parts, and maintenance history for departmental control and analysis; Perform and/or supervise cutting, welding, and metal part adjustments, ensuring protection of electrical components, hoses, glass, and acrylics during interventions, grinding with sanders, and welding operations. Align with immediate supervisor on unit priority activities, ensuring high-impact tasks are completed in the shortest possible time.
