About the team You’ll join the team responsible for the **Brascomm ecosystem’s backend**, which powers ERP modules, financial integrations, internal and external APIs, automation routines, and 24x7 services. Role mission **Develop and evolve backend applications in PHP using Laravel**, building secure, high-performance APIs, routines, and integrations aligned with real business needs. Responsibilities and duties As a PHP/Laravel Developer, you will: * Develop, maintain, and evolve **backend applications in PHP with Laravel**, following best practices in architecture and code organization. * Design and consume **REST APIs**, ensuring security, versioning, performance, and standardization. * Implement complex business rules in **enterprise management systems (ERP)**. * Work with **relational databases (MySQL/MariaDB)**, including modeling, query optimization, indexing, and data integrity. * Integrate applications with **external services and systems**, ensuring reliability and traceability. * Operate in a **Linux environment**, participating in deployments, troubleshooting, log analysis, and automated routines. * Ensure code quality and maintainability through **testing, code reviews, and Git version control best practices**. * Collaborate with product, support, and implementation teams to translate business requirements into clear technical solutions. * Document features, APIs, and technical decisions to facilitate system maintenance and evolution. Requirements and qualifications * Solid experience with **PHP**, preferably recent versions. * Proven experience with **Laravel** (Eloquent, migrations, queues, jobs, middlewares, policies). * Proficiency in **REST APIs** and authentication/authorization concepts (JWT, OAuth, or similar). * Consistent knowledge of **MySQL/MariaDB** (joins, indexes, transactions, performance). * Familiarity with **Git** and code review workflows. * Experience with **Linux environments** (servers, permissions, logs, processes). * Exposure to **CI/CD**, build pipelines, testing, and deployment. * Knowledge of agile methodologies (**Scrum/Kanban**). Nice-to-have (not required) * Experience with **microservices architecture**. * Use of **Docker/containers** in development or production. * Experience with **queues and asynchronous processing** (Redis, RabbitMQ, SQS). * Knowledge of **web application security** (OWASP, rate limiting, validations). * Experience with **observability** (structured logging, metrics, monitoring). * Background in **ERP, financial, or tax systems**.
