Implement continuous improvements based on Lean Manufacturing tools Join the largest electricity meter manufacturer in Latin America! ️ We are a 95-year-old company providing comprehensive technology and solutions for the electric power sector. \#VemSerNansen As a **Process Engineer**, you will be responsible for developing, optimizing, and controlling production processes in the distribution transformer factory to ensure efficiency, quality, safety, and cost reduction. You will analyze production line performance, implement continuous improvements, standardize processes, and provide technical support to production. **Your responsibilities will include:** * Analyzing and developing manufacturing processes for distribution transformers, from receipt of materials through final assembly. * Conducting time and motion studies, line balancing, and defining production layouts; * Developing and reviewing work instructions, operating procedures, and control plans; * Implementing continuous improvements using Lean Manufacturing tools, Kaizen, 5S, Six Sigma, etc.; * Monitoring and analyzing performance indicators (OEE, productivity, scrap, rework, etc.); * Participating in new product and process development together with product engineering; * Conducting process validation tests and qualification of new materials, tools, and equipment; * Troubleshooting process-related issues jointly with maintenance, quality, and production teams; * Ensuring compliance with technical standards (ABNT, ISO, etc.) and occupational health and environmental safety requirements; * Assisting in defining technical specifications for procurement of new equipment and technologies; * Solid expertise in time study analysis. Requirements: * Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related fields; * Prior experience in industrial processes, preferably in the electromechanical or transformer industry; * Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and electrical diagrams; * Knowledge of production processes, electromechanical assembly, impregnation, and electrical testing; * Continuous improvement tools (Lean, PDCA, Ishikawa, 5W2H, etc.); * Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar); * Familiarity with SAP/Data Sul or other ERP systems is desirable. **Preferred Qualifications:** * Postgraduate degree in Process Engineering, Lean Manufacturing, or related fields; * Knowledge of transformer-specific standards (e.g., NBR 5356, NBR 5440, IEC 60076); * Technical English proficiency.
