For the selected candidate, these behaviors will be critical to increasing Corbion employee engagement and essential to achieving Corbion’s objectives! **Position Summary** As our **Production Operator**, you will be based at the Orindiúva-SP plant and report directly to the Production Coordinator. You will serve as a technical resource for the Operations team. This role builds process expertise and subsequently trains, advises, and supports the operations team on day-to-day issues and opportunities related to safety, quality, yield, reliability, and cost. **Responsibilities** * Adhere to all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), safety and environmental regulations, and company policies. * Support training across all systems to enable operators to perform daily tasks effectively, including procedure writing and training delivery. * Ensure all tasks are performed consistently with safety standards. * Reduce variability in manufacturing by providing standardized work methods and work instructions. * Collaborate with local Planning and Scheduling departments to optimize production scheduling. * Ensure waste is correctly categorized according to applicable hazardous/solid waste regulations and is properly stored on-site before being disposed of at appropriate off-site disposal facilities. * Demonstrate and encourage teamwork; show respect for others. * Perform additional tasks as required to achieve goals. * Actively participate in the 5S program and Good Manufacturing Practices. * Prioritize your own safety and that of fellow colleagues by adhering to operational safety and operating procedures. **Requirements**: * Industrial experience or technical training preferred. * Completed high school education. * Availability to work rotating shifts. * Familiarity with Microsoft Office Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. * Written, verbal, analytical, and keyboarding skills. * A hardworking individual with a positive attitude. * A positive team-oriented attitude is essential. **About Corbion** Corbion is the global market leader in lactic acid and its derivatives, and a leading supplier of emulsifiers, functional enzyme blends, minerals, vitamins, and algal ingredients.
