For the selected candidate, these behaviors will be critical to increasing Corbion employee engagement and essential to achieving Corbion's goals! **Position Summary** As our Production Operator, you will be based at the Orindiúva-SP plant and report directly to the Production Coordinator. You will act as a technical resource for the Operations team. This role develops process expertise and then trains, advises, and assists the operations team on day-to-day issues and opportunities related to safety, quality, yield, reliability, and cost. **Responsibilities** * Follow all GMPs, safety and environmental regulations, as well as company policies. * Support training on all systems to enable operators to perform daily tasks effectively, including writing procedures and training. * Ensure all tasks are performed consistently with safety standards. * Reduce variability in manufacturing by providing standard work methods and work instructions. * Work with local Planning and Scheduling departments to optimize the production schedule. * Ensure waste is properly categorized according to applicable hazardous/solid waste rules and appropriately stored on-site, then disposed of at suitable off-site disposal locations. * Demonstrate and encourage teamwork; show respect for others. * Perform additional tasks as needed to achieve goals. * Actively participate in the 5S program and good manufacturing practices. * Value your own safety and that of your colleagues by respecting safety and operational procedures. **Requirements**: * Industrial experience or technical training desirable. * Completed high school education. * Availability to work shift-based schedules. * Familiarity with Microsoft Office Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. * Strong written, verbal, analytical, and keyboard skills. * Hardworking individual with a positive attitude. * A positive teamwork attitude is essential. **About Corbion** Corbion is the global market leader in lactic acid and its derivatives, and a leading supplier of emulsifiers, functional enzyme blends, minerals, vitamins, and algae-based ingredients.
