Job Summary:
Check-Up Medicina e Diagnóstico is seeking Receptionists to perform in-person patient service, patient registration, scheduling, quotations, and general administrative tasks in a laboratory setting.

Check\-Up Medicina e Diagnóstico, the third-largest laboratory in the state of Minas Gerais by number of tests processed, specializing in Clinical Analysis and Imaging Diagnosis, is seeking Receptionists.
**Main Responsibilities:**
* Greet and serve patients in person, either at the advanced counter (ticket kiosk) or service counter;
* Register and update patient data in the system; verify medical requests; request authorization from health insurance providers;
* Schedule exams (Clinical Analysis, Imaging, or Home Collection) and inform exam preparation requirements (e.g., fasting, collection timing, appointment hours) when applicable;
* Provide quotations for exams to private clients and record quotations in the system;
* Deliver test results according to laboratory protocols;
* Support the team with general administrative routines;
* Receive payments, manage cash flow, issue invoices, and report daily received amounts to the finance department;
* Assist in verifying sector cleanliness and notify leadership when maintenance is required;
* Maintain an organized and clean service counter and sector storage cabinets;
* Provide support to new staff by sharing information, acting as a multiplier, and assisting with service delivery;
* Organize, verify, and monitor daily health insurance authorization forms and support leadership in related follow-ups;
* Ensure release and issuance of health insurance authorization forms, verifying medical requests and eligibility;
* Perform daily double-verification of service authorization forms;
* Monitor pending service issues when they arise;
* Fulfill other related tasks requested by leadership, as needed.
**Requirements:**
* Availability to work flexible hours;
* Flexibility regarding logistics;
* Strong verbal and written communication skills;
* Ability to handle stressful situations;
* Basic computer knowledge;
* Completed high school education (mandatory);
* Experience in customer service (preferred);
* Experience as a receptionist in the healthcare field (preferred, minimum 1 year);
\- Familiarity with health insurance plans and sales-oriented mindset (preferred \- considered a plus);
