




**Description:** **Job Objective:** The job aims to ensure compliance with occupational safety and health regulations in the workplace, promoting a safe environment for all employees. The professional will be responsible for accident prevention and raising employee awareness of safe practices, thereby safeguarding their physical integrity and health. **Responsibilities:** Implement and maintain the Occupational Safety and Health Management System (OSHMS); Identify, assess, and control occupational hazards (physical, chemical, biological, ergonomic, and accident-related); Develop, review, and manage legal and technical documents; Conduct safety inspections in operational areas, vehicles, equipment, and facilities; Investigate accidents, incidents, and near-misses, including root cause analysis and definition of corrective actions; Monitor and oversee the proper use of PPE and collective protective equipment (CPE); Support compliance with SASSMAQ requirements (particularly prevention, emergency response, and operational control); Support internal and external audits (ISO and SASSMAQ); Participate in hazardous materials management (where applicable); Manage emergencies, drills, and contingency plans; Promote occupational safety training and awareness; Monitor and ensure compliance with current OSH legislation; Collaborate closely with Quality, SSMA, Operations, and HR departments. **Qualifications:** General knowledge of occupational safety legislation and regulatory standards. Analytical skills to identify hazards and propose effective solutions. Ability to communicate clearly and effectively when delivering training sessions and presentations. Proficiency in computer tools, especially spreadsheets and word processors. **Educational Qualifications:** Technical Education in Occupational Safety or currently enrolled, preferably complemented by additional education in health and safety-related fields. **Professional Experience:** Prior experience in this field is desirable, including internships or similar roles demonstrating knowledge of occupational safety and preventive practices. 2512200202551930553
