We make a difference to ensure sustainable development. https://www.youtube.com/embed/P3A4W9FDaj0?showinfo\=0 ### **TOOLMAKING ASSISTANT** ### **REQUIREMENTS:** * Completed high school education; * Prior experience in Plastic Mold Toolmaking is considered an advantage; * Technical training in Mechanical Engineering, Toolmaking, Machining, or related fields is desirable. ### **RESPONSIBILITIES:** * Operate grinding machines for tool stock removal, finishing, and sharpening under supervision; * Assist in lathe operations, performing simpler tasks and learning turning techniques; * Assist in boring machine operations for drilling and reaming, following instructions; * Operate electric hoists for moving parts and light materials within the toolroom, complying with safety regulations; * Operate magnetic drilling machines for specific drilling tasks and assist in assemblies; * Perform benchwork, including manual stock removal, sanding, cleaning, deburring, and minor assembly/adjustment of components; * Assist in welding operations on parts and tools under supervision, as needed; * Support mold adjustment activities, assisting in assembly, disassembly, and fine-tuning required for optimal performance; * Organize tools, materials, and the work environment, maintaining cleanliness and order; * Assist toolmakers and supervisors in various tasks, contributing to smooth workflow; * Transport materials and parts as needed, using appropriate equipment. ### **WORK SCHEDULE:** * Availability to work on a 2-days-on/2-days-off rotating shift, night shift from 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM ### **BENEFITS:** * Health insurance; * Dental insurance; * Pharmacy benefits; * Fuel allowance; * Meal allowance; * On\-site meals; * Annual profit\-sharing program (PLR); * Discount on LAR Plásticos products.
