We are a company specializing in custom software development and IT professional staffing, serving enterprises that seek efficiency, scalability, and technical quality in their projects. **Key Responsibilities:** * Evaluate the impact of implementing new features on the specific solutions under your responsibility and support their respective mitigation by executing automated regression tests on those solutions according to the established schedule, creating reports and analyzing occurring errors to implement and/or request necessary corrections. * Execute, maintain, and innovate the internal test framework, introducing new solutions and tools to improve product quality and outcomes. * Possess knowledge and contribute to creating new automated test cases for features under development, based on analysis of those features and their respective technical and functional documentation. * Generate test cases by documenting manual test cases or programming automated tests, per established technical standards. * Contribute to development process compliance and ensure documentary registration of all changes made, by validating change proposals and non-conformities, analyzing the quality of documents produced across all phases and of developed tests, and creating, generating, and executing tests when required. * Create indicators and metrics to help identify the product’s top offenders, ensuring optimal regression testing efficiency. * Develop and maintain data generation scripts for use in manual and automated testing. * Create managerial status reports; **Challenges:** * Ensure the system meets specifications and operates within the company’s quality standards. **Essential Qualifications and Skills:** * Proficiency in Cypress required; * Proficiency in TestComplete required; * 8+ years of experience in testing techniques; * Experience defining, reporting, and monitoring quality processes and metrics; * Experience in planning, designing, and executing test cases, and knowledge of defect tracking; * Knowledge of Functional Testing (Desktop and Mobile) and Usability Testing; * Knowledge of Automated Testing, Performance Testing, and API Testing; * Experience developing scripts and generating test data; **Desired Tools and Languages:** * Knowledge of Gherkin; * Knowledge of Kanoah; * Knowledge of Jira; * Knowledge of Postman or Soap UI; * Knowledge of BDD; * Knowledge of Oracle, SQL, and PostgreSQL databases; **Desired Qualifications and Skills:** * Agile methodologies (Scrum) experience preferred. * Priority management. * Test techniques and optimization. **Desired Characteristics:** * Organized; * Team player; * Proactive; * Curious and inquisitive; * Goal-oriented; * Detail-oriented; **Differentiators:** * Knowledge of Retail and POS rules; * ERP systems knowledge; **Required Education:** Completed or ongoing undergraduate degree, preferably in Computer Science, Information Systems, Systems Analysis, or Computer Engineering. **Project:** The developer will join the client’s team remotely and participate in Scrum ceremonies (both internal and external), working from 09:00 to 18:00, Monday through Friday.
