Work model: Hybrid – 1 day onsite Location: Osasco/SP **What will your day-to-day look like?** As a Data Scientist II, you will work within the Analytics Management team, and your key responsibilities will include: * Developing machine learning studies/models for the Individual Products area; * Leading model development, from generating and interpreting management reports to data processing and conducting studies aimed at boosting the Individual Products Directorate’s business performance; * Developing and testing models for textual analysis, including—but not limited to—generative AI models; * Exploring new information available across database ecosystems, leveraging programming and database management expertise; * Supporting the creation of executive presentation materials in PowerPoint to showcase study results and developed strategies. **Requirements and Qualifications** What do you need to have or know? * Completed undergraduate degree; * Experience in data analysis and/or building/validating models using machine learning, optimization, or other mathematical/statistical techniques, having gone through all stages—from conception through deployment, monitoring, and retraining; * Intermediate knowledge of Big Data tools (e.g., Spark, Hive, HBase); * Knowledge of Machine Learning (training/validation/testing pipeline, supervised and unsupervised algorithms, evaluation metrics) or optimization; * Proficiency in SQL, Python, and PySpark; * Knowledge of descriptive statistics, data visualization, probability, sampling techniques, and inferential statistics. It would be a plus if you have: * Experience with generative AI; * Advanced English proficiency for reading and writing; * Postgraduate degree, MBA, or certifications in related fields.
