Process Technician

Description

* Monitor machine and mold performance; identify causes of equipment malfunction and arrange necessary repairs as quickly as possible; * Prepare and adjust Injection/Blow machines (injection/blow molding), performing interventions and process corrections when required to ensure compliance with technical specifications and standard cycle times; * Perform mold setups; * Monitor part quality together with operators through visual product inspection, using specific devices defined in the company's control plan when necessary, and record findings in relevant documents; * Guide personnel in your area regarding company regulations, work procedures, and other aspects related to your area of responsibility; * Assign tasks among department staff, verifying that responsibilities are correctly carried out according to each individual's function or position, and ensuring that production schedules and work orders are executed properly per established standards and procedures; report any anomalies to the coordinator/supervisor; * Ensure products are correctly identified, counted, inspected, and packaged per established standards; * Prepare daily reports during your shift and hand over information to the next shift's preparer; * Operate Injection/Blow (injection/blow molding) machines when required; * Change molds and colors when required; * Assist in training and guiding new operators and machine preparers; * Request consumables and materials needed for shifts; * Maintain your work area clean and organized to support a productive working environment; * Conduct tests for approval of raw materials, machines, and new products; * Implement process improvements in work methods and cycle time reduction; * Assist maintenance teams during machine interventions; * Assist toolmakers during mold maintenance; * Train new machine preparers; * Conduct trial runs for new products and new resin suppliers, and perform adjustments on existing tools; * Perform daily audits of cycle time and cavity count, and implement corrective actions in case of deviations; * Other tasks assigned by management.
