Within our organization, we provide safety-first environments, team collaboration, diverse and inclusive workplaces — all while challenging each other to grow. **KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:** * Supervise workplace safety and occupational hygiene activities, ensuring worker protection. * Plan and implement risk management and control techniques, occupational hygiene, and fire prevention measures. * Conduct inspections, assessments, and issue opinions regarding exposure to physical, chemical, biological, and mechanical hazards. * Investigate accidents and incidents, proposing corrective and preventive actions. * Develop and update workplace safety policies, standards, programs, and procedures. * Ensure compliance with applicable legislation and certification requirements, maintaining up-to-date records and monitoring. * Study facilities, machinery, and equipment to identify hazards and specify appropriate engineering controls (EPCs) and personal protective equipment (EPIs). * Control and maintain current official licenses, such as those issued by the Fire Department. * Support new construction, installation, and equipment projects by assessing risks and recommending safety measures. * Supervise the onboarding process of new employees (direct and third-party) and coordinate field activities when hazards are involved. **EDUCATION:** Completed Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering plus specialization or related fields. **PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:** CREA registration; Safety legislation – NRs; Risk Management; Accident Investigation and Analysis; ISO 45001, ISO 9001, and ISO 14001 standards; Use of measurement equipment (Industrial Hygiene)
