The Nursing Technician is a professional who plays a fundamental role in promoting, preventing, recovering, and rehabilitating patients' health. They are an essential part of the multidisciplinary team and actively participate in planning and implementing healthcare activities. **Salary**: R$ 3,441.37 **Total Compensation:** R$ 3,974.39 (Base salary + hazard pay + incentive bonus) **Work Schedule**: 44 hours per week - 07:00 to 16:00 / 14:00 to 23:00 / 22:00 to 07:00 **Work Mode**: In-person **Responsibilities and duties** * Provide safe, humanized, and individualized nursing care to patients under the supervision of a nurse, as well as collaborate in teaching and research activities carried out at the institution; * Perform controls and record keeping for departmental activities and other necessary tasks, producing reports and statistical tracking, ensuring proper activity monitoring and providing accurate and clear information for management and continuous improvement of services; * Assist the nurse in preventing and controlling communicable diseases in general, in epidemiological surveillance programs, and in systematic control of hospital infections; * Guide and assist patients by providing information on hygiene, nutrition, medication use, and specific healthcare procedures, ensuring that patients clearly understand how to manage their health, contributing to faster recovery, reduced complications, and improved quality of life; * Monitor vital signs and the patient's general condition according to medical and nursing prescriptions, continuously observing the patient as needed, identifying changes, guiding appropriate health interventions, and recording data for ongoing monitoring and clinical progression; * Deliver care based on the guidelines and standards established by the healthcare institution, including safety, hygiene, comfort, and quality-of-care protocols, adhering strictly to all instructions to prevent errors—such as correct medication administration, patient identification, and continuous monitoring of vital signs and general conditions—ensuring safe, effective, and humanized care while following institutional policies to guarantee high-quality care and patient well-being; * Ensure patients receive the correct medication at the right time and in a safe manner, contributing to treatment success and patient safety, resulting in safer, more effective care with better outcomes; * Perform other duties inherent to the position. **Requirements and qualifications** * Technical Nursing qualification; * Active registration with the Professional Council; * Basic Office software skills; * Previous experience in an Inpatient Unit is desirable. **Additional information** * Dining facility; * SESC benefits; * Incentive bonus; * Day off. **IMED** is a nonprofit social organization dedicated to public health.
