**Job Description**
At Syngenta, our goal is to build the most collaborative and trusted team in agriculture—delivering high-quality seeds and innovative crop protection solutions that enhance farmer success. To support this mission, Syngenta’s Seeds team is seeking a Production Supervisor – Seeds in Formosa. This role will support leadership of the corn seed production process under their responsibility, ensure people and operational safety, produce and deliver according to plan, meet quality standards, and pursue optimal production cost:
**Responsibilities:**
* Responsible for ensuring quality, health, safety, and sustainability in compliance with applicable legislation and internal Syngenta standards;
* Responsible for field-based seed production stages, including: area scouting, contracting, material allocation, planting, documentation issuance, phytosanitary management, detasseling, quality inspections, yield estimates, progress reporting, system data entry, chemical inventory control, and harvest;
* Responsible for managing cooperators and service providers, and actively participating in third-party selection and evaluation;
* Comply with legal requirements related to corn seed production;
* Lead Root Cause Analysis investigations for production, quality, and HSE issues.
**Qualifications**
* Bachelor’s degree in Agronomy;
* Class B driver’s license;
* Technical knowledge of corn seed production;
* Proficiency in digital tools (general applications, data collection and input, satellite image analysis, etc.);
* Willingness to travel;
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite;
* Skills (Leadership, Flexibility, Resilience, Teamwork, Creativity, Proactivity, Effective Communication, Commitment, Empathy, Continuous Learning, and Ownership Mindset).
