Care for equipment maintenance ### **About the position:** A supermarket merchandise stocker is a professional responsible for organizing, restocking, maintaining, and pricing products in a retail establishment. ### **Mandatory Requirement:** * Completed elementary education ### **Desirable Requirements:** * Prior experience in merchandise restocking or similar activities * Basic computer knowledge * Agility and ability to work in a team * Good communication and organizational skills * Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays ### **Responsibilities:** * Organize and restock products on store shelves and gondolas according to purchasing department guidelines * Check and monitor product expiration dates, performing replacements as needed * Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area, ensuring proper product presentation to customers * Conduct inventory counts and verifications, ensuring stock accuracy * Assist in receiving and verifying merchandise, identifying potential discrepancies and reporting them to the responsible department * Serve customers courteously and efficiently, clarifying doubts and assisting with product location * Contribute to maintaining good relationships with suppliers, fostering a collaborative work environment * Ensure the maintenance and organization of equipment and tools used in the restocking department * Follow workplace safety and hygiene regulations, using personal and collective protective equipment ### **Benefits:** * Health insurance; * Dental insurance; * Attendance bonus or food basket; * Incentives for achieving targets; * Discounts with distance-learning institutions, pharmacies, and other partners; * Shopping discounts; * Transportation allowance; * On-site snacks. ### **Work Schedule and Hours:** * Rotating schedule: 6 days on, 1 day off
