We are in a phase of accelerated growth for our technology team and are looking for a mid-level developer who delivers high-quality work, has strong expertise in PHP and WordPress, and enjoys working in a startup environment — agile, collaborative, and highly impactful on people's lives. **Essential Requirements** ● Proven experience (minimum 3 years) developing PHP applications in production environments. ● Experience with WordPress: theme customization, plugin development, API usage, and integrations. ● Experience with JavaScript and Ajax. ● Backend best practices: knowledge of MVC or PHP frameworks (e.g., Laravel, Symfony, or similar) is a plus. ● Familiarity with databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, or equivalent), version control (Git), staging/production environments, and deployment. ● Ability to work autonomously, with strong organizational skills, results-oriented focus, and collaborative spirit within the team. ● Strong communication and technical-business alignment: ability to translate requirements, discuss solutions, and explain technical decisions to non-technical stakeholders. ● Continuous improvement mindset, emphasizing code quality, performance, and security. ● Experience with Scrum and Kanban methodologies **Desirable Differentiators** ● Prior experience in startups, SaaS, or fast-growing environments. ● Laravel ● Experience optimizing WordPress for high performance (caching, query optimization, etc.). ● Genuine interest in mental health. **Responsibilities** Role Mission: You will be responsible for implementing continuous improvements to our platform, developing PHP features, WordPress customizations and integrations — ensuring quality, performance, and usability.
