Teamwork and good communication The Junior Activation and Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing basic activation and maintenance tasks for telecommunications services, working under technical supervision, following operational procedures and quality standards, with emphasis on learning and professional development. * Assist in activating telecommunications services—including internet, data, and voice—for residential and corporate customers. * Perform low-complexity preventive and corrective maintenance, as per technical guidance and defined procedures. * Conduct basic signal, connectivity, and equipment functionality tests. * Support initial identification of faults in networks, customer installations, and equipment. * Complete and update service orders, reports, and operational checklists, ensuring accurate documentation of activities. * Ensure proper use of tools, materials, and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). * Strictly comply with established safety regulations, quality standards, and internal procedures. EDUCATION * Completed high school education * Courses: Fiber Optics from Scratch, Enchanting Customer Service, Cabling Culture, Customer Success in Installation (Fiberschool) TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES * Basic knowledge of networks and telecommunications. * Familiarity with fiber optics, cabling, and customer premises equipment. * Basic understanding of measurement instruments. * Familiarity with service order (SO) applications and operating systems. * Six months of experience in the technical field. **Behavioral Competencies:** * Willingness to learn and advance technically. * Organization and accountability. * Teamwork. * Good communication and professional demeanor.
